Central Sierra Child Support Agency (CSCSA) delivers local child support services on behalf of the Counties of Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, and Tuolumne. Usually referred to as the “Department of Child Support Services (DCSS)”, CSCSA contracts with the four counties to deliver governmental services under a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) agreement, thereby sharing services to effectively deliver support directly to families. CSCSA is a governmental agency, meaning that employees of the Agency are civil services employees with the same benefits and protections that county employees and other public sector employees hold. CSCSA partners with CalHR to administer the recruitment process.
CSCSA has four locations, one in each of the four counties. The business office is located in Amador County at 639 New York Ranch Rd, Jackson, California, 95642. The Tuolumne County office is located at 975 Morning Star Drive, Sonora, California, 95370. The Calaveras and Alpine offices are located within the County Health and Human Services office.
